Decades ago, when I was a little Florida girl, Florida had the best educational system in the country. I still remember my 5th grade teacher, Mrs. MacFarland, who stayed after school every day for weeks to help me learn stuff I had missed when I skipped 3rd grade. But apart from that, schools should teach what society needs, not what parents want. It’s a big effing mess and I have no idea how we’re going to get out of this. Thanks for your comment!
