Great piece, and encouraging! I live in Costa Rica now and am struggling with Spanish. Fortunately, these people have a lot of patience, and a great sense of humor. I once went in a hardware store to order two padlocks (candados), but instead ordered two marriages (casadas). The whole place went up in belly laughs, all good-natured. I am still laughing about that one. They love it when we goof! They love it when we try!
