A 75-word novel & love poem

She could tell by his random stacking
of sticks and uncut rounds
he knew little about building a wood fire.
Raised in the country
alongside an intelligent pig,
she wondered if his city ways
would divide them.

Her eyes, large and brown,
her hair long and fluffy —
his, shaggy, whitish, shedding
on the navy blue chair
next to the fireplace.

She approached on all fours,
submissive, murmuring softly.

“Rrrrrrrr…,” he growled, invitingly.
