Sounds like a really rough patch. I feel you. I've been there and back again. I would strongly recommend you go ahead with that hysterectomy, including ovaries and cervix. Ask them to take that pesky appendix too while they're digging around in there. Go on HRT (Premarin works best) and never have a GYN exam again, once healed. It's the ultimate freedom. Trust me, the sex is WAY better after this, and you'll be free of all the worry. Whichever path you choose, I wish you the very best. It ain't easy being a woman of a certain age. :D
