Thank you! Great advice. Once when I had an old place on the northside of Chicago, I stripped 50 years of paint from doors, mantels, and moldings. It took me my entire grad school tenure to finish that job! But then I finished all of it with tung oil, which made an incredible hard and beautiful finish. Wondering if you've tried that?
