Well, to get serious for a moment, we definitely are NOT alone. There are 8 BILLION of us. And when we die, it will be no different from the death of an ant or worm or leaf. The only reason we think we're special is because of a fairy tale about the garden of Eden. We're not. We should live in the moment, do the best we can, and stop killing off other species through carelessness and neglect. We are not special and there are too many of us.
