What a great read! Thank you! I'm reminded of the time spent a few years ago writing dozens of 75-word novels in competition with a friend. To set the scene, develop the characters, have suspense, and a surprise outcome, all in 75-words (exactly!) was one of the most valuable lessons in writing ever. I hadn't thought about song lyrics in this light before. I'll be listening with a new ear henceforth!
