Yep, I'm an atheist too, having evolved from Southern Baptist to agnostic, finally graduating to atheism. Well, this country isn't a christian nation (although there will be a lot of disagreement about that), and I had thought that the "Happy Holidays" thing was more to include Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, YouNameItReligions. Seems to me that Merry Christmas does exclude all other religions. But it's definitely NOT a "war on Christmas" like so many have argued. It's just someone's idea of trying to do the right thing and getting shot out of the sky. It's difficult these days to try to do good because someone will always be offended or attack. Nevertheless, three cheers for atheism! :D
